Hold on,baby, just a little bit longer
Don't let anyone tell you you're not strong
Hold on tight to what you believe in
Take my hand and keep walking on
They'll be times when you think you cant do it
But thats when you're tougher than you'll ever know
So hold on and dont let the pain show.

I know how it feels to want to be like everyone else
Yet you're never the same
Somehow it hurts more to love and be loved
than to numb yourself and not feel a thing
It sounds good at first
Not knowing emotion
but in all reality it's even more lonely and cold
Than anything you'll ever feel

The crowd surges past me

Voices
Laughter
A sea of faces
Emotions
All of different intensities
But for a moment i
Felt
It was as if everything
has turned
Silent.

Did i hear
the ringing
of a bell?

Someday
Sometime back
In my memories
Surrounded by friends
Happily smiling
Laughing
I cannot remember
What we did
Nor who was there
But
We were the closest we could be
Yet
For a second
I felt as if i was among
Strangers
I knew
No one.

Happiness
It was fleeting
Fireworks
It held for a moment
I held in my heart
That hollow place
Where no light could shine
Nor find
And it was my secret.

Masquerades
We are holding one
Every single
Day
To fill up that empty
Space
With something
Anything
So empty inside
We all are the
Same

Reality
I substitute my own
I don't feel
A single thing
I hear
Silence
Now it seems
like a
Fantasy world
I stay in myself
and watch
the ripples spread
across the surface
every single day.

I thought i heard
someone
calling my name

Those blank white walls
They are still there
Watching
Absorbing the noise
Absorbing the colors
and
Turning them all into
White
My prison walls

A ray of sunlight
A simple gesture
I know you're
calling

The door
Its open i know
I am free
to go as i wish
But i know
The key to my heart
I have thrown it away
What for
I have forgotten
But it is
Too late
My prison was imaginary
My prison was non-existence
My prison was only
my heart

Who was blocking everything else
