Try taking a dare
What is a dare?
Just like in truth or dare, a dare is challenge that someone can take. However, in
this case, all of the dares are designed to help push a novel along. They contain
various things- such as quotes, situations, or characters- that must be included
in the novel of the person who takes the dare. They can be very silly or very serious, it's
up to you! This sectionwas inspired by the dare post last year, which was inspired by the
dare thread on the NaNo site.
How will this dare thing work?
This section of the thread relies primarily on suggestions from participants like you. So please,
please feel free to suggest a dare. You can suggest these dares using the form below and
posting it in the thread. Each day, I will update this post with dares that have been suggested.

Well, bolded question, I am glad you asked! Simply use the form below and post it in the thread!

Dare: Have a character that is missing a knuckle in his/her left hand
BP (bonus points) if this fact ruined the character's dreams of becoming a hand model.
DBP (double bonus points) if the character constantly wears gloves to cover it up.
TBP (triple bonus points) if this is relevant to the plot.
There! Easy as that!
What about taking a dare?
If you wish to take a dare then simply fill out the form below and post it
in the thread. Also, I think it would be nice if you post a excerpt from
your novel where you used the dare, if you end up using it.

Note: More than one person can take/express interest in a dare!
They are not geared towards one specific individual. So please feel free to express interest in a
dare even if someone else has also expressed interest!

Include a character who smokes at the worst possible opportunities. (Tobacco, weed, anything is fair game)
