Have you ever participated in NaNo before? If so, what has your experience been like?
This will be my fifth year participating. razz I've done it every year since 2005, and I have won every year since then (sometimes with a struggle, sometimes not). Last year I did 100k. I love NaNo, especially write-ins. heart I'm really excited for my local Thanksgiving write-in this year because it will be my last year NaNo-ing in Hawaii.

This year I bought one of the NaNoWriMo hoodies. It's very warm. 4laugh

Haha.. Me too. I stalk my sister when She's online...It bugs the crap out of her. I've got my first version of my covers done. I would love to see yours. Mine are really simple.... but I think they're good. I'm a complex person who like simplicity.

Have you ever participated in NaNo before? If so, what has your experience been like?
This is my fourth year participating, and so far I've only failed my first year (which I still blame on the inappropriate release day of the Wii, lol). My experiences have been great, many reasons why are actually because of this thread and it's past lives. And especially last year when I started to go to the local Meet-Ups where I've managed to meet some cool people whee (actually it was more from the after NaNo meet-ups...)

This is my second year participating in NaNo and I have to say, NaNo is simply amazing. There's no other feeling like staring at the clock, waiting for midnight to strike and then start writing, knowing that there are so many others on the ride with you. It's awesome and I couldn't think of a better way to spend the month of November. Also, the people in NaNo are just so nice and crazy!

Have you ever participated in NaNo before? If so, What has your experience been like?
Oh, wow. Haha. This is my second year doing it, But this year I'm using the YWP this year, because last year I failed miserably at trying for 50,000 words and had the attention span of a rock. I might actually end up over shooting my 35,000 word goal and actually make it to 50,000 this year, maybe more, because I'm writing something I love working on. (Yes I'm selfishly using NaNo as an excuse to finish a novel I've been working on since last Christmas. No, I'm not counting what I previously wrote in my word count. I'm not that selfish.)

I participated last year, and the reason I didn't win was not because I couldn't write that much -- it was because I got tired of the storyline. I've got a new muse this year, so I'm hoping that we'll do a bit better. Also, this year's storyline is much more developed.
