Besides, they help me get rid of my writers block sometimes.

will you give out critiques or just sum it all up with the points?

I totally understand. Personally, I've been using a prompt generator for a while now, just trying to clear out some cobwebs and practice. But contests, for me anyways, give a bit more incentive to write. It's usually the kick in the pants, you know?

I would be willing to give out a critique if someone asked for one 4laugh It all depends on the writer. Some want them, some don't. As for the points, they're kept secret till after the contest

It basically just gives you like... the bare minimum for a story. Theme, maybe a character idea or two, and the end. Or a large event. I just use it for quick writing practice. It helps me flex my writing muscles lol.
