Here is my entry for the month.


Questions Left Unanswered

If I died tomorrow would I truly be missed?
Would I be thought about even years after I’ve been dismissed?
How big of an impact have I had with my life?
If I suddenly vanished, would people stop and think twice?
Always waking up feeling focused, positive and ablaze.
Wondering where life will take me, thinking today's the day.
Is it enough? Did I leave a big enough footprint in the ground?
Perhaps if I could afford better shoes I’d be able to make it count.
How effortlessly these questions float around in my head.
But such is life. So many unanswered questions. No answers ahead.
Am I a cruel, dark joke or a masterpiece in light?
Is someone pulling the strings, or have my wings been given flight?
My greatest fear is passing by without even knowing.
My entire life, have I been slowly decreasing or growing?
Realization just struck me. I'll never know until I cry.
I will know soon enough, for I shall finally close my eyes

I think getting through it and finding time to write will be enough. I haven't really been on the ball lately, what with moving, starting uni, then having all that tooth-extraction crap creep up on me last month - just to become lazy and unmotivated as you can possibly get this month. Getting through GGW might be enough. I have too much to learn still to snatch that trophy for myself.

I agree. It would be an accomplishment in itself to finish writing so many different pieces, as the competition requires. You've had pretty good reasons to not have written lately, though!

I got through GGW V and came third. The final four of us all had really close scores. Mathematically, any of us could have won that last round.

Correction: I had plenty of good reasons to not write last month; this month, I am just lazy as ********. I just submitted the piece I wrote for the throw-down since the other entry I had completed looks mundane compared to PK's poem lol

Last year was the first time four people had a mathematical possibility of winning in the final round. Although, the probability assigned to each of those four was quite different. TLM only needed 1 point in the final round to knock off the 4th place person. Even if that individual scored a 15 at that point, it wouldn't have mattered.

That person=Selbe. Lol, I was just glad I finished. As you told me many times, my entries were pretty damn cookie-cutter. But, again, I just was glad I finished what I started.

Hey, finishing GGW at all is a huge accomplishment in and of itself.

Although PK, be warned: I'm gunning for that trophy. I want something REAL to show for my troubles this year! hahaha.

Also, will likely be doing Camp NaNoWriMo in June with my coworker [this guy just keeps getting more and more amazing. i'm falling hard, guys. xD] so hopefully i'll have something to submit each round at the very least. some sort of snippet/chapter/something.

...although it would probably help if I had any idea what i was gonna be writing about xD lol
