I need some help in a book that I'm writing.
I need words that I can say instead of "said".
I say that TOO MUCH and I can't think of anything else.

Try expressing what the person is feeling at the time that they say it, using words such as:
- gasped
- explained
- growled
- exclaimed
- expressed
- acknowledged
