Hello.

This weekend I've been together with my boyfriend for a year, and I want to give him something special, so I decided to write a song.

But I'm really stuck on the lyrics, I've never made a song about romance before - I don't want to make it a cliche.

Pleeease help?

This is a good question.
What are some of his favorite musicians? You could try and incorporate a little bit of everything from his favorite bands, artists, songs. Not necessarily the words, but just the feel of song. I'm not sure how to really write a song, little own a romantic one, but I hope I was able to help out a little bit.
