When do you do your best writing?

When working to a deadline, procrastinating, or in the early hours of the morning.

Late at night or early morning. I seem to "awaken" more as night approaches so being alert more probably helps the creativity flow.

If I find a good song and hit a nice flow where it becomes just background noise, then I'll write very well whatever the time is.

I do my best writing when I am relaxed and have some good music playing. Haven't been able to relax enough in about a year,as I've had a child and have a million things to do besides. Lol. But I will be attempting it. Soon. surprised

I dunno, I feel as if when my emotions are in overdrive I can channel my thoughts better.

3am, hopped up on 6 cans of creme soda, on a school night, while listening to a playlist of the weirdest combination of genres (love, rock, pop, metal, country, parody, opera, jazz, classical, etc.).

Or during class when I should be doing other things. Yep.

I think the best times for me is at night, late late night.
I tend to write best the moment I am about to go to sleep.

Besides that, when I'm really really hungry haha.

Regrettably, I, too, write at best by nightfall. I only say regrettably because I adore sleep as much as I do writing 8D
A nice, classical composition is ideal for writing in my case, as well as having a decent theme in mind.

I'd say really early in the morning, before sunrise. With no one else awake and your thoughts to yourself.
