Just 'cause I'm curious, why is she trying to open her skull?

Because she's been kidnapped by people who like to torture people, and a small device is implanted in the brains of certain people so that if they're away from their 'owner' too long the device activates, and causes malfunctions in their brain and makes them go crazy and hurt them selves...and she becomes aware of the device in her brain.

I'd recommend studying up on a bit of neurology for that. ninja It depends on where the device is, specifically... the parts of the brain that could elicit this response, I'm thinking, are located around the center to base of the brain. The amygdala, I would think, would be a good place. In which case, I think the temple might be the best place for her to drill... I think the bone has slightly less integrity in that area.

... Again, this is remembered from classes and study, so I'm not guaranteeing 100% accuracy. n___n; My school is cheap and teaches me off powerpoint slides... heh.
Miss Chocolate Kiss
In regards to the second question, unless she's being controlled by some otherworldly force, she'd go unconscious before she could do so. And drill or no, even if she did manage to crack the actual skull, I'm assuming she isn't a professional and is likely to cause brain damage that would impair her from going on.

Depends on what she's skewering with that drill. If she did too much damage to the cortex, I'd think that would be valid.

Well, the thing is that she's not completely aware on it's location. She just knows it's there, and is desperate to remove it and not in the right state of mine to even think what she'll be doing to her brain, or even that she's going to die if she does it.

I say you make her do it and then she dies.
It's realistic, heartbreaking, the whole nine yards.
Or maybe she could find a way to figure out where it is before she has to do this to herself?

I'd say she'll incapacitate herself then, knock herself unconscious from the brain trauma, then probably die. n_n; If she's just drilling at random, she's not going to get that thing out...

I don't know how she'd be able to do that. She's trapped in a cell, with tools at her disposal only to harm herself ,and I assume that it wouldn't be very close to the skin so it's not like she could just feel around for it. Plus, it's tiny.
And she's not really a main character, but her discovery does impact the main character.
What exactly do you mean by the first sentence..?

Does this answer your question?

Also, if she smashes her head on the floor enough to crack her skull, I don't think she'd still have the mental capacity to pull at her own brain, if she's still conscious when she does it.

Did they hire you to write Saw VII or something?
You're right, that WAS disturbing... ugh... but I suppose the use of sharp objects can make openings in just about anything if it's sharp enough.
... That's two very... insane... woah-ing.... questions... ever.

Nope. I'm actually writing fanfiction >>;
K for that one girl trying to dig into her brain.. Um im pretty sure if she banged her head reapeatedly shed pass out.

So maybe you should have her give herself one massive blow to the head?

And for the girl that has to get her insides but out through her vag... She might bleed to death... But if the attacker duz it really fast (and hard of course to actually get to where he needs to be) he might be able to get it out before she bleeds to death..

Really interesting topic o.0
The intestine-pulling is possible. I've heard about operations being done that way to cut down on recovery time, since they didn't need to make a gaping wound on the patient's stomach to take the organ out. The women who have had this done had hysterectomies (no uterus) before though. I guess you could just cut through the uterine wall... or the uterus could have been taken out prior. This all seems very overly complicated when a good old cut on the stomach would work just as well. Then again, I doubt the point of this procedure is to be efficient.

She would pass out from the trauma before she could dig into her brain.
I have nothing of use to say here, just that this thread is interesting, and I'd really like to read whatever you're writing.
