Valerian sounds perfectly acceptable to me, just because he's bad doesn't mean he already has a wicked name or even changed his name. Hell I might just make a bad guy now and name him Pete.......

I think Valerian is a good name to use for a bad guy....just remember all the reasons he could have that name and your golden..

Valerian is a type of flower, by the way.

I'm having difficulty coming up with names for these characters. They'll all EVENTUALLY get made up names, but nothing has really struck me. So until that time, they're all named after alcoholic beverages. Problem is the names are sort of beginning to stick. Sabroso, Sabra, Amaretto, Obsello, Merlot, Angostura, Bacardi, Charanda, Mastika, Ballantine, Anisette, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Gin, Absinthe, and Nalewka. Might have a hilarious comedic relief character named Guinness just because. This is probably why, though, I shouldn't write high fantasy. Never can come up with good names. >.>

do any of you think Ling-Khan is good name for an evil alien, chinese warlord? (alien being extraterrestrial)

and that Lexa, being his adopted daughter (who happens to be English)

and what about Flurimax and Magmerix? these are characters in my story. if anyone can come up with better, please tell me.

ok, the first link doesn't really help, because what if you need made up names besides those that are listed on places like "baby names" and etc? made names like "aliens from outer space" names.

i can go to baby names and other places for human names like "Max, Willis, Bradshaw, Alex, and etc."
