I'm going to have to agree. I need to know what 'do' means here in order to know what I should consider about the name.

I've been trying to think of a name for a young, minor character who adopts one of the main characters as her "Big Sister." Problem is, I'm no good with Chinese or Japanese names (her culture evolved from them as much as the major character's evolved from America/Germany).

The ones I've been thinking of are Mei, Ju, Qiu, or Xiaofan. But the one that has the meaning type I want (Xiaofan - Little Mortal), is just too long confused

truth is i created my own story and the TITLE is called Gale and my CHARACTERS were named Flaco, Fage, and Aneks and the TOPIC was about a kid figuring out that he is part of a powerful family that faded out of history for three decades but two people from the PLANET De.t (Fage, and Aneks) find Flaco-the main character-and they go all over the world to get to the portal Fage and Aneks went through to get to Earth...and after all that i am still continuing with my story so far it is about 30 Chapters-more or less-lol so i hope you got some ideas on writing your own story biggrin
