The Gaian Summer WriMos is over! How did you do?

Wow, I've done nothing but waste time today. I took the basic file from last Nano's cover, tweaked a couple things and tossed in a new image to make a cover for Ochrasy III:



Picture is a sketch by Hugh Ferriss. I'm not sure it entirely captures what I wanted, but the colour worked well, and it's city-rific, which was good enough. *is too lazy to do more* XD ... I wonder if I should move the position of the title... o_o;

And I tried to come up with something like a book jacket description:

Funny how I was already planning to do this before I came across this thread. My friends and I were planning to do a NaNo equivalent in both June and July... so I suppose that was just a disorganized attempt at a SuWriMo. No matter.

I'm really busy, so I don't know just how much writing I'll accomplish. Either way, I suppose I'll stick to what I achieved last NaNo and assume I'll be punching out some 100k each month... so 200k total? (I'm not really expecting to get close to 200k, but I'd like to try?) I'll be gone all of August....

Anyways, this sounds like a lot of fun, so count me in.

@Da Flea: Your cover actually looks rather professional... I wish I had that kind of talent.

Smartie: Yep, I'm getting my procrastination devices done. (but I've still got banners and soundtracks and tekteking - oh my! =O )

PMS: Yeah, Esby is probably your kind of woman. The kind who'll smex you up and stab you in the back at the same time. XD Although this book has to start out with her being less serious, which will be a challenge.

Snowing: It looks professional mostly because of the nice picture, which I can't really take credit for. The rest is just text with a simple outer glow. =3

On another note: I made a book cover last night for Book Two. It's not very good. Today I'm tempted to make one for Book Three so that when I come to write it I won't be distracted. Oh, and playlists. I should make those too.... >_> Ha.
