Female characters that are political leaders are:

1. The Princess's mother, the Queen, and thus only a side character
1a. An Evil Queen, and most likely your Princess's stepmother

2. A sexy secretary to the good-looking, Casanova President

3. The beautiful Elf Princess who marries a Human Man to Unite the Species

4. The First Lady who is the President's trophy wife

She can never be the General, and most certainly cannot be a member of Parliament or a Presidential Cabinet that does something besides sit there and look pretty for the press.

Make sure to make every one of your main female leads completely gender ambiguous, right down to the name. Great names include Sam, Billi, Charly, and Pat. Make sure to spell them differently so everyone realizes how special your character is and just how fitting of her character, her name is! If there is a very feminine character in your story she must automatically be evil, to contrast with your smarter, better, more talented main character. Also, the men seem to fall in love with her instantaneously for no particular reason they can explain.

If you do not want to have a tomboy character she must be especially feminine. It's best if she complains about her large breasts hindering her ability to find clothes that fit and refers to her beauty as a curse. Sexual abuse is a must in stories like this because it allows your character to experience some nasty stuff without turning your pure and innocent character into a perverted sex-kitten (unless she is with her boyfriend then it's a necessity) for even a second. Afterwards, when her mental state is compromised a knight in shining armor can swoop in and save her from her guilt-less misery. Great names for these characters include Izzabella, Rosalinna, Abbaggail, and Seraphinnia.

Any attractive men in your stories must automatically fall in love with your character. If they don't, nobody will read your book and you will contract rabies. The villain should also fall in love with your character and attempt to convert her to the dark-side to reign by his side as his queen.

The immortal's friends and family must die rather quickly because they're mortal, and always get sick/in accidents/injured at a rather high frequency. This gives the immortal (especially vampires) much angst indeed, thinking that he/she could only join if s/he were mortal.

No one thinks immortality is awesome except the villain who'd do bad things if they lived forever.

Parental "abuse" is when your MC's parents do anything to disagree with them.

They must be painted as controlling and smothering, even if they're trying to hold back your MC for their own good because every learning experience should be done "the hard way."
