Also when describing a character, you ABSOLUTELY MUST make sure five to ten pages of a chapter are taken up by an overly long and unnecessary description of what they look like and what they're wearing, otherwise everybody'll think they're naked and laugh at him, and EPIC HEROES DO NOT GET LAUGHED AT, DAMN IT.

Make all cultures just like ours. Use the same taboos, norms, and overall, awesome.

NEVER make your main character a villain, because NO ONE is sick to death of reading about good guys all the time. Besides, villains can't teach us anything about ourselves at all! What a laughable idea!

Either make an Iraq paralel, or never make a culture of people most people would not like, even though such tribes still exist today.

Never forget that misanthropic characters always have a reason and are never just untrusting people who can on occasion get it wrong.

Or if a character is trusting they will always without a doubt see through peoples lies and prepare to be double crossed so that the liar gets themselves tangled up in their own web of deceit.

Also a hero can never hold prejudice or appear to have a problem with some one other than the villain.

no after all the hero has to be (even if he is a half demon half vampire quater werewolf half hispanic/japanese armybrat) they have to be nigh on angelic and divine.

indeed and Sci-fi is never has and never will be a good way to explore the human condition. The only reason to have sci fi is to have alien babes, robots, big guns and mecha. You cannot have an almost purely human scifi genre ergo the works of Philip K d**k, Asimov and so on do not exist.

Same with fatasy. Its about boobs, swords, and lasers. Nothing more.

They also guard hallways by standing in the middle of the hallway and facing one direction. Apparently, they assume that the other half of the hallway isn't important, or they were only paid to guard half a hallway. Either way, this is regulation rules in hallway guarding.

The guards only WANT you to think they're guarding half the hallway! The other half is heavily guarded with cameras, and the villain has his guards set up in a way that you think you've outsmarted him, when in reality he's just outsmarted you.

Either that, or the guards really only care about half the hallway.

Remember, history is and has always been simple. All wars were started for simple reasons, have only two sides, are good vs. bad, and both sides admit to everyone why they're fighting them. wars do not cost anyone money.

Also, only cultures who have been at peace with the earth forever, are polytheistic and non-sexist made up of generous and kind non-whites have been attacked and conquered by monotheistic, sexist, racist, mean, greedy white people. History has never had exceptions and neither should you.
