Also, in the case of multi-colored hair, that will be their NATURAL state. They don't dye it or anything.

If a person dyes her hair, it will be from black or mousy brown to peroxide blonde, and she is probably a ho. Most characters, including the one with that beautiful shiny unnatural red, have naturally coloured hair. That's how you can tell that they're good guys.

((Somewhat guilty on that last bit. Most of my protagonists in one story have ruby-red hair. But that's the norm where they're from. Different gene pool and all.))

((Acceptable if it's a fantasy thing where ruby red is normal. Also, I'd look like a huge hypocrite otherwise because I've got unnatural natural red hair in my own too, and gold eyes to go with it. Haha.))

Dying blonde hair never damages it, or changes its color. It's easy to get dye out of blonde hair.

Neither is nail-breaking painful or harmful. No one's nail breaks in such a way that it bleeds. The break isn't ragged either; the 'breaking' of the nail also simultaneously files and polishes it. Really, it's just like trimming your nails, without a fingernail clipper.

((this has always been a problem for me, but my nails are so long that they hardly break to the 'critical' level... I hate breaking nails anyway, though.))

There is also only one type of nails. Nails are never flat, or squarish, or tiny, or yellowed; they're always perfectly arched and tamed, like the character gets Manicures for breakfast.

Unless they are evil. Then they are claw like and made for scratching and puncture wounds. But usually also manicured to perfection (unless they are heathen neanderthals, where they are blunt, jagged, dirty, a yellowish brown color. Which match perfectly with their teeth).

All badass babes can wear extremely hight spiky heels that never break and they never fall. If a girl does fall while wearing heels it is because she is a cute geeky girl who had just gone through a complete make-over.
