Many countries have been enforcing population control, e.g. India and China. The population has always been naturally controlled by conflicting birth and death rates. Now, many cures for diseases have been found and people are healthier, thus causing the death rate to decrease. Over population can be a problem in any modern society. A smaller household provides more opportunities for the child. Also, the country benefits from more resources and easier control of the population. Families should only have enough children to replace the mother and father. As more and more cures are being found, death rates will plummet. The only natural way of controlling evenly distributed resources for everyone is having the same amount of people compared to food and other products being produced. The most efficient and natural process of this is the death rate matching up with the birth rate. Many countries, like China, suffer from overpopulation. This has caused: water systems to become unhealthy, smog, lack of proper resources, and lack of land for agricultural production and expansion. With more people needing places to live, smaller areas for growing food will be available. Economically the whole county would be in trouble. With the demand of resources, the cost would increase tremendously. Many people wouldn't be able to obtain what they need. Smaller families use less, which means more for the overall population. Crime rates go up as population increases. More citizens will cause the provocation of others and the law. It is almost impossible to completely control everyone, especially when the numbers are so high. Police will be outnumbered, and crime will be rampant. The decrease in families will make raising a child properly easier. Smaller numbers of well informed youth will lead to less crime. In larger families children act out to get the attention of their parents. They will grow up with these habits and apply them in the future. However, they may resort to negative attention. If children get the individual attention they need when they are younger they can distinguish between good attention and bad. Having more children reduces the time that can be spent on each individual. Smaller numbers of children is the only way to ensure that they get all the time they need so they become productive members of society. Being in a large family means a lower income. Growing up can be pricey. Everyone wants the opportunity to better themselves, which means they would have to have extra help. The less money parents have to spend on more children, the more they can contribute to the few that they do have. Large medical bills and food won't take away from money for extra curricular activities. These things benefit everyone in the future and just add to the developing of the country. Having smaller families is ultimately good for the child.
Okay, the bad news is that we can't do your homework for you. Proofreading this in any detail counts as that. If you need help with something, ask your teacher. Trust me, s/he won't be cross, but pleased that you have been pro-active about things.
The good news is that I'm going to give you a quick pointer. Presentation counts for a lot. When you submit your essay, make sure it is free from formatting and grammatical errors. Each new point starts a new paragraph. If all your paragraphs are just one short sentence, you probably need to expand upon them.
Also, be sure of what you want to say before you start. Write out an essay plan in bullet points, and make sure you can tick off all those points by the end. End with a conclusion to tie all your points together - like the knot at the end of a braid. If you have done all those things, you will be fine.
As to whether the essay is any "good"; again, this is something only your teacher can tell you. We don't know the question it is in response to, not the subject it is for. So, once again, I tell you this:
ask your teacher.
