Number 93 single world - resent
She told herself it was him. Every passing day she looked in the mirror and told herself it was him, him she resented. The years had dwindled, the places had changed, the dreams had long since faded and become an empty reminder of the person she swore she would be. All the things she had promised herself would happen, all the plans she had ever made and the life she yearned for had all passed her by. It was him, it had to be him. That’s what she told herself every day. It was his fault that she became like this he was the one that put an end to the life she had always craved. Yes she had loved him at the start, loved him so much she was oblivious to the net he had thrown over her. She had awoken to late from her sleep to find he help her captive, that she was his procession. It was not love he felt it was ownership. Her cage was not a gilded one. Yes the resent in her heart was for him she kept telling herself hoping that if she made herself believe her own lies then she would never have to except she resented herself for letting it happen. She was her own downfall but to even let that thought linger in her mind for even a second caused such a brutal pain that she would simply smile into the mirror and lie all over again.
