Can't say that I have. But then again, since I've never competitively wrote something, then I suppose I never have / had / will.

Its not the easiest. It requires a fast mind, creative imagination and a quick hand.
Personally i do not like it very much--my english teacher made me do it because she completely adores me. ew.

haha. its a writing competition exclusive to the state of ohio. its for higher aged middle school students and its somewhat creative writing.

Basically you are given a prompt and write for 40 minutes.
12 students from each school attend.
there are 3 competitions: districts, regionals and states

my school won the 1st place for districts. regionals is still to come! XD

Huh...maybe i should move to ohio, this sounds interesting....

btw: Congrats on winning 1st place for districts! biggrin 3nodding 4laugh

You should movie to Ohio anyway, or at least visit Lancaster, in order to honor the birthplace of the man who ended the American Civil War. (Not Ulysses S. Grant.)

And no, I apologize, I am not in that competition. I unfortunately do not live in Ohio.

Anyways. I was just looking for prompts to help me prepare for the regionals match on february 25.
