Welcome to Gaia! ::

@Misuki:
It sounds fascinating. Even not knowing the context for your character, it sounds like it could make something really good.
Congrats on the 780 words.

@Elemental:
Don't know how to do that through.
That still sounds really painful. My sister gets them often. She is such a sickly evil cow.
Have fun seeing your mom!
Once you start writing I'm sure your motivation will kick in again.

@Alberic:
A year will fly by though. Years always do. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?
Congrats an keeping at the words the other day. You'd rather fold laundry than write? e.e
I'd rather clean the litter box than fold laundry.
Good luck with the writing of today.

@Josephina:
Whootness! Congras on the words, the packing and having a good friend.

@Loper:
Awesome for the roleplay.
And quite so.

My Progress:
Finished all my Spanish homework. emotion_awesome
I hate the painting.
I skipped math today to finish it, and I'd just fall asleep anyways so now I have some twenty minutes of time before my next class and I'm going to start the dialog fixing.
@Darkness:
Awesome job!
That's a lot of progress.
How do you feel about the first chapter?

I hear this next bout of schooling will sail by in no time, but still, it's six months of suck. crying I'm... twenty-two and a half. Don't feel a day over seventeen, but yeah, gettin' up there.

Folding laundry and shining boots are things I keep telling myself I'll do, but never get around to doing. I love having all my stuff folded, but the process is too much work... sweatdrop

Grazie. Ought to hit the gym in the next few hours, but let's take a gander at which projects I feel like working on... Another thousand words today would be awesome, but there are other plans, too.
Hi everyone!

I didn't actually write today, but I am currently jotting down the synopses for all of the chapters in the first act. I am working on chapter two and I hope to three or four by the end of the day.

Progress: All right! I'm back in the swing of writing fan fiction! =D 1032 words total on "A King's Ransom". I'm currently having an interesting dialogue between the hostage's brother, Sabin and his comrade/airship pilot, Setzer! Life is good again.
@Desi: sweatdrop ahahahah (my nervous laugh). It's wuxia. My sisters and I watch a lot of wuxia series so we figured we can make our own (and a better one) since the genre has been lacking and predictable for far too long.
I'm a new to this thread here but I figure I may as well start posting my own progress. Maybe it will be a little confidence boost to see that I actually am making progress and help me stay motivated to continue.

In a nutshell, I'm writing a story about assassins about 100 years in the future. So far I have a completed rough draft that is about 75,000 words and I'm in the process of revising it for the first time. I'm a little stuck on chapters four and five (romance stuff...I've never been good at it). I'm working through it though and I feel like it's going well.
Unfortunately, I have gone backwards in my progress. I deleted seventy thousand words worth of a cyberpunk themed novel. I have nothing, now.

Ha, ha!

So, about 4 years ago I wrote a story, a novella if you will. It was 117 pages. Now I'm re-writing it. It's taking FOREVER to do that. Does anyone have anything that can help speed up the process??
EDIT: I am also writing another story. It's kind of a fanfiction, but I edited the character that I was using for it somewhat. Now I'm at a stand-still because I don't know what else to write.

Gah. I'm just so irritated about my Monologue. Can anyone help me with it? It's basically a flashback of what has happened, but it's so obvious and I don't want it to be. It's so.. fluffy too. It's supposed to be like, what would go through a teenagers head after running away. :

I would have to say something, like, "Where do I go now?" or "How will I support myself now?"

My progress: about 1.5k words and an addiction to caffeine.

Urg. Because my dad is making me revise so much, I have no time to do anything else. He even disapproves because I don't revise through my lunch hour (a girl needs to eat!) and thus I need energy drink to actually get through the day *apologizes to liver*.

At least half term is next week. One week of pure, work-free bliss.

*Sigh*. Now I just need to find someone to review what I've re-written. This could be problematic.

My novel was based off the transhumanist movement - mechanical augmentations and I was growing tired of how complicated it was.

And through, really, months of trying to make it seem -not- like a recent video game that came out - my mother said it sounded exactly like it. I figured it was a hopeless cause and deleted it all. I wasn't going to bother messing with it.
