Ok, so I didn't write this poem...my boyfriend did...on the bus...the night of our three month aniversary on the way back from Marching Band state...sooo sweet...
"When Love Endures"
Life, like a river, rushing, soothing
Unpredictable, currents unseen plaster my heart
Love endures, the loving fragerence of the lillies
Restores hope, restores that undescribable feeling
Flowers of unmatched beauty, nothing comes close
After a radiant morning dew, the river water becomes like crystal
The emerald blue lillies, their flourishing pedals
Sparkle like perfect diamonds; the clouds start to reveal
The magnificence of the riverside lillies, shows their solitude
Even though rains and clouds have distored my views
Love endures, love keeps my life worth living
My eyes, in seeing the lillies start to wither
Tries desperately, willingly to help the lillies
Restore it's smile, it's dignity, it's perfection.
My life has become like the river, and everything concerning it
Mountains do not overcome me, even the most grandest of peaks
For love endures, the five continues to flow, a constant beat
Rhythm, the melodies of the woods, create harmony
Chords, caring and thoughtful, my ears love these sounds
I never tire of lying down, near the riverside, reflecting
Everything becomes clear, all my mind cares about is showing the lillies,
How much I care, I would do anything to make them feel loved
How much I love them, my heart cannot express the amount, it's too much
Love endures, the lilies blossom, beautiful, awesome
Sunlight, ensuring, fulfills the lillies, their baby-blue, stands out
I sit at the creekside for days on end, I could stay here forever
When love endures, my life is perfect, I love the lillies, I love you.
Remember people, if some of it doesn't make since...it was around one o'clock in the morning on a bus!...yeah...lol
