Da Flea iAnimalLuver Um, hi guys. *waves* First year of NaNoWriMo for me... kinda nervous... Only at 600 words too. The beginning is the hardest to write, I think. Any advice for a newbie to NaNoWriMo? I agree with Tobaeus. Just keep writing. That's the best advice. Don't let doubts get the better of you. Even on days when you think it sounds like crap, just push on. I also find that if you get slowed down by boring chapters or can't get a good transition or something, it can be good to just jump ahead to something more fun. Then you'll get more done and you can always come back later to add those little pieces. =3 Also if you are stuck find someone for a word war. That really works for me especially on scenes were I want to over analyze things. Sometimes I turn out good stuff that would have never happened because I was so busy frustrating myself on trying to put in what I thought might be right. |
