I am a fanfiction writer and have a slight familiarity with Yu-Gi-O (well, enough to know it's about that huge thing the character wears, the split persona and cards sweatdrop ). I usually write in Gravitation, Weiss Kreuz and Gundam Wing, however, I can help with stories set in Harry Potter, Trigun, Vampire Hunter D, Cowboy Bebop, Samuria Deeper Kyo, FAKE, Marvel, and Big O due to my interest in those animes/mangas/comics. I also write in original works in fantasy so I can help a little there too.

Anyways after saying that, what is the plot you had in mind? A romance, pure and simple? Or some other deeper plot?
Current fanfiction areas for me are YuGiOh, InuYasha, and FFVII. I can also help with Vampire Hunter D, X-1999, and Ninja Scroll. Those are the anime's I'm most familiar and fanatic about.

I'll help in whatever way I can.
H'mm, my expertise is Chrono Trigger and Digimon. I also know a reasonable amount about Neon Genesis Evangelion and Record of Lodoss War. And that's it for me. whee

God, i hate you! Now, because of you, you've inspired me and now i must start writing my own adventure..... you did this to me!!! (thankees =^ ^= 3nodding )
This post has been declared irrelevant: Please disregard if you agree.

How do you need IDEAS for writing fan-fiction? Christ, all the ideas are stolen from other books or movies in the first place. To say that you can't think of an idea for a fan-fiction is to say that you have NO imagination, no creativity, and basically no writing prowess.

I'll admit it, writing fan-fiction is tempting because it might be something you're already particularly interested in: But if you can't just write without draining the ideas from an internet forum or some childish japanese-animated television show, than you shouldn't write at all.

I for one, am tired of seeing ridiculous "stories" about fox-demons.

If you're reffering to Inuyasha, you might want to recheck the fandom before speaking.

As for fanfiction, debate on that subject is not on topic for this thread, please move your views to the 'Fanfiction= Credible Writing?' Thread.

I'd like to disagree though...yet also agree in some strange way. My idea of writing fanfiction is that you need to have an idea first. You usually don't sit up and say 'I'll write a fanfiction for such-and-such fandom today!' Fanfiction, for me, comes in random bursts of inspiration that I write with already constructed characters to see how it will play out. However, you may start with a brilliant idea in mind and later need more ideas so that you do not lose interest. As for fox-demons...they're all right, but enough is enough. (Especially when they're all female fox-demons who have unknown power and an awful past where both of their parents died and they are searching for a lost younger sibling that works for the 'evil' side...) <- Cliche plot.

Dammit, I've tried to quote that ten times in a row. Gaia is effed up today. Anyway ...
First of all, please don't bump. Not only is that looked down upon in the Writer's Forum -- but this is a Sticky, which means that it's always at the top so bumping isn't nessecary at all.
Second ... Perhaps, if she truly needs help, she could come and give us the details regarding her book so that we could help her. What you've told us enables us to do nothing in matters of aid. I don't even know if it's fanfiction or original works.
... I just realized something. The acronym for 'original works' is 'ow'. xp
Ehe, I'm probably the only one who found that amusing.
