I need lots of help! xD

I write stories on Fanfiction.net and my beta reader, a person that reads my chapters and corrects spelling, grammar and ideas. She told me that 1st person view isn't good, since I told her I don't want my character to be a mary sue.She gave me great ideas, telling me that 3rd person view is easier but I feel like my story is better in 1st. what should I do?

If writing in first person is your style, then I say go for it. There's no right or wrong way to write a story. You're the author, so it's mainly up to you to decide what's best.

I write in first person all the time because I feel that it gives the reader an intimate experience of the main character..

Reproduction.

That's what I need help with.

So my story is about a group of magical-type people called Treelings. Think of them as a subspecies of faery. They closely resemble young human children, with a minor difference here and there, and are related directly to the trees. As such, one of them might live for centuries, before "returning to the Tree Souls."

I'm having trouble conceiving a fashion in which they might create offspring, as it were. I thought of some ritual involving a great old tree, or potentially the females giving birth themselves, but neither seem particularly feasible.

Anyone got any better ideas?

Seeds. You could make the tree give seeds.

And then what? The Treelings plant the magical seeds, and a few months later out pops a baby?

No, then Treelings are born. I mean, they don't have to be taken care of, they can take care of themselves the moment they escape from the seed.
i know everyone may say this but i am writing a story on a girl's life. Can i have some ideas. I am getting writer's block and I want to know how I can make a love story more interesting without making it immature and disgusting. How would you make it romantic and lovey-dovey?
