amstrohmeier i do believe that the whole entire world should not revole around this sight but it is a good main source of information if that is thru. you should not ever and i mean never use wikipedia the free encylopedia due to the fact that all the information on their is allowed to be edited by the public so anything on there could be false satated. hidiuos! gonk Misspelling, improper punctuation, improper use of characters and all around bad grammar? In the WRITERS' Forums? I THINK NOT! Seriously, who would take the time to purposefully attempt to sabotage Wikipedia when it resets to it's previous form if falsified information is posted? And then sabotage their source sites? And then sabotage the sources of those sources? Why, our whole bastion of human knowledge must be some conspiracy to ensure that Wikipedia is always wrong! Why did no one see this before? I'm sorry lass, but your argument is invalid. One way or another, Wikipedia can - and will - help. |

I need to stop procrastinating gonk
Does anybody have any ideas of how to make writing about a road trip more interesting? It's a pretty long road trip so I can't just be like "And then they drove, and then they got there." you know? What kinds of exciting things happen on road trips? [and don't say hitchhikers, they already picked one up, haha.] |

[and don't say hitchhikers, they already picked one up, haha.] I have some suggestions, but they're unrealistic. Is your story realistic-fiction? EDIT: My suggestion is that they become lost and end up driving into a town populated with people who seem normal enough, but are actually hiding a deadly secret. The civilians come off as perfect. Everything they do is tuned to perfection. The protagonists in your story seek assistance from the townsfolk, and settle in for a certain time duration. Within the interval of their stay in the town, your protagonists discover the true nature of the natives; Those who are considered flawed whether it may be physical or otherwise, are singled out and killed. The heroes and heroines of this story must determine how to escape this lifestyle, as they are pulled in too deep. Pretty much everything I have in mind for now. Sorry if this seems like it's derailing from your intended plotline. =/ |
