I didn't attempt to do it this year.
There was no time with finals and such.
But I graduate this year so maybe next year I'll go for it.
Nice to know quite a few people got into it.

Oh, I utterly failed.
School dominated my life and made it impossible to write. crying

I made it up to 28,000 or so, but fell through the cracks because of school work. I'm still going to finish the story though.

Couldn't finish 50,000 words, but who cares? I'll continue to write it.
Bad. I stopped around the 10k mark when I became incredibly discouraged. One of my friends had asked to read what I had so far and she tried to steal one of my characters the following day, so I laid low for a bit, but I'm still working on it. Slowly, but surely.

Real women don't like shoes and purses; they like chainsaws and really nice paint brushes.

Abysmally.

In New Zealand, November is exam month.

I only got about 2,000 words written.

I gave up on the second day. I didn't really have any new stories, and last year I wrote 350,000+ words of several novels for nanowrimo. So I guess I proved to myself that I can do it, and that I can write a LOT, so... this year, I just... didn't have any really good reasons to do nanowrimo anymore.
Plus, most of my friends were like "a million words this year FTW!!" so, you know... I was like... meh. No. I mean I'm super competitive, and in order to compete THIS year I would have had to aim for that also. And just.... no!!

I have to say ~ it's a very strange feeling to be conscious and aware in November!! I haven't seen November since 2005. It's weird to know what's going on in November and see what the rest of the world is doing then. XD

I also had started gothnowrimo, and gave up that too... I think all my motivation is gone!!!! cry

Weeelp first I procrastinated on my novel and now I'm procrastinating on editing the 20K words I wrote down to something much easier to work with and actually finish my novel.
But gotta study for finals first. Putting my priorities in order. xD;

I r a loon!
:D

I didn't finish it....again =X

I won on the ninth, then got to 70k (and finished the novel) on the fourteenth.
I was going to go on to get 100k, but I didn't plan my second plot, so I only wrote about 7k for it.
But now I know what to do next year. So you know, it's all a learning experience.

I failed. But I think I'm going to work on it. XD My characters won't shut up. sweatdrop But I'll try again next November; see if my creativity hasn't remained a dry spell as it has been lately. neutral

You can always change your timezone on the site so that you can submit it after midnight.

It's also possible that the site gave users some leeway due to some issues a lot of people were having with validating at the time.

Also, you don't have to ask the same question twice in two minutes. Especially not if you're quoting yourself.
