NaNoWriMo 2009 is over! How did you do?

Today I actually have to write the designated number of words because I only made it to the word count i needed yesterday because I was so tired from dance class.....fish flops hurt...don't try them...

I caught up to yesterday's word goal that I didn't make, now I'm attempting to write the word goal for today. I'm ahead already, so It doesn't really matter if I do get another 1667 words today, but if I did, I'd only have 10k left to write. Oh well. I'm procrastinating, or I wouldn't be here...

I'm so far behind. I'm only at 16,100 words. I'll have to work my a** off something fierce to finish the last 33,900 words.

I wish i coud be writing right now. But im babysitting for someone and am on their computer....I need 500 more words to reach todays word count its drivin me crazy that i cant be writing right now....hey i like this computers keyboard right now....hehehehehe

Well, I grinded it out and got another 900 words in. I'm going to bed with exactly 17,001 words. I almost feel like I should remove one word and have exactly 17,000.

Anyone else's plot/character doing completely unexpected things? My main character is supposed to be discovering a gigantically suspicious government plot previously kept hidden from the rest of the post-apocalyptic world.

Instead, she's hunting bison and prairie dogs in some random plains I just inserted into her world right now. In excruciating detail so I can waste more words.

My characters are, amazingly enough, actually doing what I tell them to do. They are going slow but I may reach the 50k mark and have completely skipped a good chunk of the middle section. Which does not please me.

I've had to sticky note my computer to tell myself to not kill certain charachters...especially one because I think shel be like the main charachtrish...I have no main charachters relally in my book...is that possible...

I'm over halfway through mine, and it's all been build with absolutely nothing really happening! It's kind of pissing me off for one thing, but then I think about how rewarding it will be in the the end when I actually get to WRITE about their relationship. And by then I will have all sorts of evil plans that are already still in the making.

I have no plan for parts eight to sixteen really, except a basic sketch what's roughly going to happen in them, and from there on I've got it mostly all mapped out in my head. I think that I should start making jot notes so that I can keep track of where my muses take me since they're in a bit of an alcohol-induced stupor at the moment... I had to find some way to keep them active enough to help me and keep me motivated.

Seriously, my muses are messed up. I think that they'd been listening to the smut bunnies too much for it to be healthy... yes, I do name that part of mind because it literally does have a mind of its own. No I do not have mental health issues.
