Honestly, it's awesome that you got yourself to try! I know a lot of people who were too lazy or nervous about making the commitment. As long as you're able to give it a try, and get a feel for you, than it can only make you a better writer for it! Next year, you may make it a lot farther, and before you know it, you'll be blowing people away with how much your able to write within the month! |

Instead of making one long story, why don't you try a compilation of short stories? It might suit you better if you don't generally write long pieces. And dumplings go with everything. <3 |

Also, guess who just hit 15k? *dances* I'm slowing down, though. I cut down Richard's scene because I couldn't get his voice down and I have to get my damn characters down the dark-side version of this office building and to the next area, but I can't think of anything good to throw at them because I used up all the good stuff in the 'light'-side area. Sheesh. I'm debating on whether I - wait, no, they're so totally going to the carnival area next. Never mind. Edit: Could I POSSIBLY type 'down' more times than I did there? Holy cow. |

This is year two of Nanowrimo for me. Im so behind and it makes me sad but I wont give up. Were did yall get the nano widgets that has your word count? Im on like...three thousand words but im going to write more in a little bit.

So this is the last few words I've written... Quote: The rest of the trip down was similar. Various horrible things happened, but nothing plot important, so the author got bored, broke the fourth wall and skipped a bunch of s**t. "That was extremely interesting and also traumatic." Mori said, stepping out into the street. "I was so amazed when you did that thing with the thing to the thing that I lost my nouns and verbs." Walter said. *headdesk* I didn't want to write it. So i did that - I don't remember much of my first NaNo but I recall it being a complete chaotic mess and I STILL don't think I broke the fourth wall in it as hard as I did there. At least now I get to move on to a different section and have some more variety - you can do a lot more trapped in an Evil Carnival than you can trapped in a, um... Spider-Infested Office Building. |

I got SO bad yesterday! I wanted to hit 15k before midnight, since I was home sick without a voice and all, so it was the perfect day to get it all done! But when my boyfriend came over to make me soup, he fell asleep in my bed, and I just napped with him, and before I knew it, it was 8pm, I was starving, and I still had just over 13k. After we ate and he left, I tried my best, Word Waring with some of my friends over Skype, but I started falling asleep at the keyboard, so I had to give up razz I'm so mad! Since I don't have any classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I had better catch up...
