To everyone who has offered links about being buddies, I've added you!
I would love to have more writing buddies so here's my link~ heart

I haven't written much because I am meant to be studying for my final uni exams of the year. I am using this as a way of procrastinating. -.- Plus my sister keeps bugging me to watch anime and stuff..*is tempted easily*. Following so many new anime series..
Anyway back to writing for me!

Write one novel, 50 000 words in one month, no biggie!

Darn it all! My brother deleted my nano my stupid a** didn't back it up. 4,086 words....gone. :C

I'm going to start over in December with my own Nano and have my boyfriend keep me on track.

Sigh

I finally managed to catch up today after consistantly being behind by a few hundred words each day for the past three days.

If you count all the RP posts I've been making then I am storming ahead. But I can't because it's nothing to do with my novel.

So currently I am on 8548 words.
If only RP posts counted! I'd be well ahead of the daily quotas, and then some. It's nice to shift gears from NaNo writing to RPing though. 3nodding

Shirk Schnitzel: Yep, homemade! Already smells good. And there's a lot. I'd love to share. :3

Yes definitely, RPing is far more relaxed and I have someone to bounce my ideas off, plus it's helped me get in to the habit of writing every night since the board I'm on for RPing is really active, so I'm used to sitting down and staring at a Word document until something pops in to my mind xD

Won my first NaNo! Still finishing the book.

I wrote somewhere around 6k yesterday, which brought me up to 10,230. I'm gonna see if I can write that much again today.

You can do it, self!

I need to think of lots more plot twists between where my MC is now and where he's heading. Otherwise it's going to be a very long, very boring walk through the woods.

15 minute word war anyone? I need to put out 320 an hour if I want to hit 10k by midnight. @_@

Add me anyone? I want NaNoBuddies...

Haaaah, as much as I would LOVE to go for the real goal of 50k, I don't see how I could do this.

I'll just warm myself up for the cold weather this month by my goal of 30k.

Good luck to everyone!

Signatures are lame anyway.
Six days in I and I was going to forgo till next time, but what the hell I'll give it a shot.

Tell me though, how do you keep a hold of your word count? Isn't counting while you write sort of a nuisance?

Also, what is a respectable word count?

I use the word count on my writing program. Usually try to average around 1800 a day if you want to hit the goal in 30 days.

I have no idea how much I wrote yesterday, since I'm doing it long hand. [Crazy, Iknorite?] but now I have a vicious cramp in my right hand. Ha.

I suppose I should start typing on my laptop now....

Oh my.

That is a lot of writing. The editing afterword is going to be insane. Probably take me four times as long to edit all of that as it did to write it.

If it makes you feel better, I have to do 3000 words today to catch up to the daily count. ^^
it's not so much if you break it down hourly.
If you have 4 hours of free time, and do 450 an hour, you get your daily 1800. 450 should take 15 minutes or so, 20 if you're painstaking about it. ^^

I'm a writer. I think dramatically. When someone says "doctor's appointment" I hear "final arrangements."

Yeah, I have to do like 3000+ words today too. sweatdrop I did start on the third, though, so I'm going at a pretty good clip to even be this far.

Can Mori booty grab enough gold to get a Noel's Gift before the double-gold weekend ends? (Hint: No.)
