Hello forum, i was hoping to ask anyone if they knew of a website where i can learn vocabulary. like "learn a word a day" kind of deal.

I know i can learn from a dictionary, but after a while my entire diction would all start with the letter A and that would be... well weird.

Also does anyone know of a website where i could learn about writing? both actual writing, and stuff about it like prepositions, etc?

All help would be much appreciated.

Google "word a day." There are tons. I recall some email them to you if you want. Can't give any specific recommendations. I imagine if you can find one by a dictionary it'd be better. Maybe Oxford and such have a "word of the day" email blast? In fact, I think they do.

SFWA.org has a lot of articles about writing. There are others, but it all depends on what kind of stuff you're looking for. If you have any questions, you could post here too and get opinions.

For the nuts and bolts, there was this OWL.
