I'm brainstorming a story about a modern-day university student who has visions and dreams from another era and sees Realist-era portraits that look exactly like herself in an antique bookstore where she works.

She visits a therapist who helps her piece together the meaning of her visions and her professor helps her write a thesis and research the background on the paintings.

This all leads up to a climax where she travels cross-country to the home of the painter, feeling "pulled in" as if by gravity, and encounters a flood of memories that reveal a vision or dream of the painter in live color, real-time who informs her that she is the embodiment of his dreams/vessel of his visions.

I'm still trying to come up with a denouement for the story so I wanted some feedback from you guys on how you think the story should conclude. Any Ideas? Does it seem interesting enough to read?
