i need help with my novel! how do i start it?

i'm an ok writer but it's always hard for me to write the first page or chapter. any ideas on how to start my novel?

Start with a normal day's activities gone wrong, or suspiciously really good things happen. Maybe add a little foreshadow. At least that's what I do. But, put in a little action, something to gain the audience's attention. Other than that, it's your story, and with that, I can't really say much beyond that.

I found that Writing the story is the way to start, don[t worry about how to start it, you just write it and then when your'e done, you can re edit it. Right now , just worry about getting your'e idea down. You already have the plot that's good, try to start the beginning. Use an eye catching phrase that will make other people want to read it, and then finish from there.This is some of the advice that was given to me , so I'm passing it down to you.
