One question haunts and hurts
Too much, too much to mention:
Was I really seeking good
Or just seeking attention?

I wish June was NOW.

I've made a map, and made up names and places, and- I still have to do races, and put a few names to characters, but that usually happens while I'm writing. Why can't June hurry up? gonk

What's sad is I keep pushing people to sign up but I don't even know what I'll be writing. I'm just hoping that once June arrives, the pure excitement will cause inspiration to bubble up.

Haha, what's worse is that I know exactly what I want to write, and it's eating my brains. I was in the distractions subforum in the guild earlier, and I was writing letters to my characters. I never do that, but I want to start writing so badly that I had to, or else I might have exploded- or worse yet- actually written some of my novel! *Gasp* surprised

PMS: I went to check that thread out. It's actually kind of fun, although it didn't really get me anywhere with planning. XD But hell, maybe I'll just write the whole book like that. It's supposed to have sections focused on certain characters, so maybe I'll just say, "Okay, Character, we need to cover your connection with *unnamed organization*. Could you give a little intro and then maybe an anecdote about working there?" And then I'll just type out their response like that. I'm not sure how well it'd work as far as good literary story-telling... but it might make it easier to start. xp

@Flea: That certainly sounds fair enough! I didn't get very far with planning, though I guess it helped me with having the characters find their voices a little better. Apparently they're not happy with me at the moment xD And, so long as you can get started, it may make it easier to continue. 3nodding

I made a tektek of one of my characters. He's on my profile.

(Flea: It's the Autistic Shinto Priest, Puppy. You can check him out, if you want. I think he's adorable! Dream-cast, he would be Elijah Wood. )

Does anyone else make tekteks of OCs just for fun? Or dream casts? Come on, I know it's not just me! If you don't, start! It's fun, and a great way to waste spend time with your characters before the starting bell without writing!

Let's hope I get somewhere with it.
