I have story ideas, but I have horrible trouble writing/typing for a novel...thanks to the popularity of 'Thrilling Adventure Hour' and 'Welcome to Nightvale' ( or is it Night Vale, I might be misspelling like a jerk here ) I'm pondering writing for a radio drama!
Er, I THINK they're called...radio...dramas...?
At least they are in Japan...I...think? sweatdrop
Oh you get the idea, I want to write specifically for sound only and no visuals.
But...I don't even know how to write a script.
I really want to read some sort of example to get an idea on how to write this kind of stuff....any advice on that and writing for this kind of situation in general?
Google "radio drama format" or "radio drama scripts." A ton of examples should come up.
FYI, I did a radio drama assignment a couple of years ago, and the format, structure and content are very difficult to get right. I would HIGHLY reccomend getting to grips with writing for the stage before you move into radio drama, and when you do, make sure you do your research.
