Hi there, so I'm writing a story, and I need a bit of help with the actual story part. I know kind of what I want out of it, and the direction, but its the very very basic plot that I need to choose from. Ill give a bit of a run down.

Characters:
1. Echo - Main female- shapeshifter
2. Sorcha - Second Female - Echos best friend- Fairy
3. Felim - Male - possible echo love interest - Friend - Selkie
4. Heck - Male- Friend- Sorcha love interest - Aaxte

5. Cathan - Main antagonist male - Human
6. Anxo - Cathans son/henchman - possible echo love interest - Jinn

These are the main ones. Story revolves around Echo, and is told from her viewpoint. I have 3 different ideas I'd like to bounce off you.

1. Main 4 are orphans, raised by nun, slowly learning about powers. Were part of a genetic experiment to bring out stronger forms of extinct preternaturals. Cathan kidnapps, tries to train as super-soliders to take control of supernatural society, but with help from Anxo they stop him and escape

1. Echo is an orphan, raised through foster homes, not all good. When she starts to develop her powers, she is taken in by wealthy, seemingly good natured Cathan, and transfers to same school as other 4. They become quick friends, and secrets about powers start to show up. Anxo is Echos foster brother. Turns out Cathan wants to collect all types of preternaturals, starting with the rarest first, Echo, followed by other 3. Anxo is a middle common.

Echo- 16 - Slightly damaged, but still holding up. After being raised in countless foster homes, not all of them good, Echo has a slightly cynical view on life. She is quick with a comeback or sarcastic retort, in exchange for getting too deep and letting people know her. She’s smart, clever, crafty, stubborn, protective, loyal, and a natural leader. Most of the homes she lived in either abused her, ignored her, or a combination there of. She was barely ever shown love or compassion, and it has affected her outlook. Those few homes that were good however, were the highlight of her life. She took on her last name, Coutts, from the first nice home. Tara Coutts was an older woman, 58 years old, when she took in Echo, who was 6 years old. Echo lived with her for 2 years, before Tara died. After that, she has never stayed in one family for more than a couple months, no matter how nice. Tomboy, wears hoodies and baggy clothes, mostly to hide her body. Punk in style.

5’7” tall, around 145 pounds. C size breasts. Shoulder length straight black hair, layered cut. Bright purple eyes. Skin tone is a dark tan naturally. Slight tummy, but no belly rolls.

Sorcha - 15 - Bright, bubbly, energetic. Raised as an only child, given whatever she wanted but wasn’t spoiled. Parents are middle/upper class. Sorcha is quick to talk to someone new, and makes friends easily. She is crafty, like to make small jokes and pranks, and is quick to help someone smile. Tends to wear fashionable clothing, always in a nice outfit. Been friends with Heck since 1st grade, friend with Felim since 7th. When she was first introduced to Felim, Sorcha developed a bit of a crush on him. Heck was like a brother, constantly by her side supporting her, and she never really looked at him that way. Felim was different. Full of paradoxes, Sorcha wanted to find out all about him. The crush has faded over the years, it was one sided for too long, but it’s still there.

5”4” tall, around 110 pounds. Very light and petite, no tummy at all. Breasts are size A. Long blonde hair, very thin. Normally worn in an updo of some sort. Kind of pale naturally, but is tanned from the sun. Caramel brown eyes with flecks of gold in them.

Heck- 15 - Kind of awkward, shy, kind. Heck is the oldest child, and only son, in his family. He has 4 younger sisters, and he’s very protective of them. His family is middle class, and sometimes has troubles making ends meet with all the kids, so he works as a construction worker part time. He is a doting brother and friend, will drop anything to help out someone. Because of his size, he tends to speak quietly as to not frighten anyone. The school football coach made him try out, and he’s a Lineman for the team. Wears jeans and t-shirts, sometimes jackets on cold days. His clothes are plain and well worn, he prefers to spend his money on his family and friends. Has had a crush on Sorcha since 5th grade. Became best friends with Felim in grade 6, but only introduced him to Sorcha in grade 7 for fear of competition.

6’8”, around 190 pounds, but mostly muscle. Broad shoulders, big head. Short, dusty brown hair with some highlights from the sun, slightly curly. He has bright blue eyes. Black.

Felim - 15 - Beautiful, handsome, and incredibly charismatic. Felim is an only child of his widowed mother, and was raised in a very loving environment, but always felt something was missing. He’s fairly bright, but focuses more on being social than intellectual. His family is also middle class, but they have it a bit easier being only 2 people. While he is extremely social, most of his ‘friends’ are for appearances only. He may hang out with them occasionally, but his core group, Sorcha and Heck, are the 2 that matter most. Heck was the first one to see past his looks and connect with his inner, more immature, self. Sorcha was introduced to him as Hecks crush, and while she is Felims only female friend, she is completely off limits.

6’2”, around 160 pounds, all muscle. His body is sculpted, without any work on his part, but he likes to keep himself fit. His slate grey hair is longer, going to his shoulders when it’s down, but he keeps it in a loose ponytail. Tends to wear a bit classier clothes, with button down tee’s and black jeans. His eyes are a pale sea green.
