What is a good name for a witch? I really like the name Hazel, but that seems like too comon of a witch name.....

I like Ivy. Actually, I never give my charas 'normal' names....like, for example: Bri, Perren, Ramona, Shayne.....I love uncommon names ^^

One of the series I read as a teen had a ton of characters with natural names. Though it said that vampires used them a lot more than witches. ^^ L. J. Smith's Night World. The idea was that vampires took the names of trees in order to prove that they were stronger.

I remember the Shadow Raiders fandom, where the characters had names based on their planet (Rock: Flint, Jade. Fire: Pyro. Tech: Tekla. You get the drift.) We had much fun with rock-based names, like Calcite, Igneous, Sediment, and Hornblende.

I usually come up with my own for everything no matter how stereotypical the character is, but how about Scarlet Philips...for a modern day witch...I dont know, I came up with that name just for yew...sorry, had to say that biggrin
