On summer days when my friends went abroad for vacation, I was left to my own devices for fun. My parents own a garden which my sister shared. Not wanting to dress up and go out, I wondered what can be so interestring about sitting in the dirt and moving things around. I flipped over a brick expecting more dirt, or moss. It showed me a metropolis of fungi, baby gnats, hustling roly polys and a family of slugs. Beside the bustling city was another brick. A few black and brown pupae lay unmoving. Not knowing what specimen this is, I took a picture, placed the brick back, and compared it to hundreds of others on google on own my own time. Each page led me to more bugs and insects I never knew existed. My own backyard was like a biology class.

Any tips for the conclusion would be great too. Thank you for your time.
