Are femslash characters primarily lesbians? sweatdrop

Good! Another reason to be on Livejournal. It's easier for me to come with ideas for slash more than femslash (oddly, I'm writing a fantasy novel with a main lesbian couple in it) so you might not be seeing any work from me for a while but I'll check it out.

I'm not a "femslash" writer as you call it. (What a weird word). However, I do know of a fantasy story that has some "femslash" (in English, female love) in it that is also a pretty great fantasy story. It's called Tales of MU, and is available at www.TalesOfMU.com

The author updates this free online book with a new chapter every day, which I think is a wonderful new way to share your writings with other people. I'm a big fan.

Well, not necessarily - they can be bisexual, or straight women who just happen to fall for another woman. Interestingly enough, I have a story where the latter actually happens. xD

I write femslash, but I don't have an LJ.

I've written stories with hetrosexual relationships (and a short fanfiction one-shot for a friend with a male/male one), but have only just started writing my first femmeslash relationship in a story.

I always thought that it was spelt 'femmeslash'. But meh...

Yum.
I write femslash. I have an LJ too so I'll definately check it out.

... Actually... Femslash is really a term for fanfics, not original fiction. Since, really, the term "slash" is used for pairs that aren't typically together. Two characters that are female falling for each other, in a canon sort of way, isn't femslash, or, not generally.

Now, say you have two straight women, or a girl that's straight and one that's gay, or even two gay girls [unimportant, as long as in the main storyline they are not together] and you write a story in which they have a romantic relationship, that is femslash.

Of course, nowadays, people don't give a ********, and title everything femslash. 8D
