Are there any femslash writers around?

Femslash (in case anyone reading this doesn't know) is fiction - written, drawn, etc - with a romantic or more-than-platonic relationship between females. It doesn't HAVE to be an adult story, or even a romance, for that matter. There are femslash action stories, femslash horror stories, etc.

But I digress. Basically, I'm wondering if there are any fellow femslash writers hanging about the forum. I don't expect any stories posted here, considering the semi-PG rating of Gaia itself, but it was a thought. For those that are:

A pretty great group of femslashers on LiveJournal have begun planning a special "Worldwide Day of Femslash" event. The details aren't set in stone, but the basic idea is that all sorts of stories, graphics, and what-have-you be posted online on that day - a sort of tidal wave of new blood for femslash around the world. We're particularly interested in people from outside the US and England, since many of the planners are uni-lingual and don't know writers from other countries. However, almost any femslash will be welcomed with open arms. Note: The 'almost' part has to do with anything concerning children, animals, or non-consensual relations. P&P doesn't accept that sort of thing, and neither does the event.

Anyone interested and/or curious can check out the main community at Passion and Perfection. There's links to other LJ communities for specific pairings there, as well as the website itself - femslashers should check it out for some awesome reads, there's just about every movie/TV/novel pairing you can think of written there, including some incredible originals. Warning: The stories in the com or on the site do depict varying degrees of sex between women - most are rated, but some aren't, so everything under the fake-cuts is fair game and should be treated accordingly.

Honestly, I'd be more interested if she did just post the address. I understand her feeling that there might be an invasion threat, but the WF is pretty courteous for the most part. We're not the type who do raids.

And she's been a perfectly good girl with the bumps, I've been keepin' mah evil eye on her.

Sorry, guys, was off doing chores and dinner -

I'm not necessarily worried about an invasion - it's not much of a major thing - but I was more worried about the content of the community and site versus Gaia's TOS. Femslash doesn't need to be majorly adult, but quite a bit of it is by nature - or at least, more explicit than average. Most people are good about posting ratings for their stuff, but it was still a worry.

And yup, I've been watching the bumps. I know better than to be annoying - it wouldn't help the cause much. xD

I always thought that if you didn't go into intense graphic detail about a subject, then you aren't exceeding the PG-13 rating. So a fair warning is good.

Ooh! Me, me! -raises hand- I write femslash! Except, contrary to quite a few femslash stereotypes its not very explicit. In fact it's normally extremely mild, some kissing, and that's about it. But I digress. I'll go check out that LJ group! I don't have an LJ myself, but still...=3

I write more slash than femslash (I write/identify with male characters better,) but I will most certainly check it out sometime soon.

How fun to find this here! I've actually been frequenting P&P since December. Unfortuately, I'm not really a writer and not a good enough artist to post anything. Sorry, I'd support it if I could. Good luck, though!

I don't write slash/femslash at all, don't read it either. Now, femslash pictures I can get into. I couldn't draw if my life depended on it though.

But I fully support trying to get femslash out there.
