Prom: more trouble than it's worth.

I didn't get to go to prom. The one year I planned on going, Freshman year, when I was dating a Senior, I got my dress and and my date got his ticket...then he dumped me. (Which is okay, he was a loser, but after I spent all that money?)

Junior and Senior year I chose not to go, which worked out just as well since both times around my friends said they went for ten minutes then left.

See, I never had a proper boyfriend throughout high school, so I tried to go to both proms with friends as dates and it always proved awkward. In retrospect, I should have gone stag and rocked out with my friends.

Never went to any of my proms in high school. Was never that big of a deal to me while everyone else was fussing over it and telling me I should go. Lol. Not my thing.
