my date was an exboyfriend turned best friend. and we still sort of had something there, you know what I mean? So we went to prom. Our prom was this past Friday, May 16th.

He didn't want to go with me, apparently. Because I was blown off all night, and during the few dances I did get with him, he was telling me that he didn't love me anymore, and that he needed a new girlfriend....and he wasn't about to spend his senior prom with one person, so I had to get over it.
It may not seem like much to you guys, or not. But to me, it was a horrible night. crying

That really does sound like a horrible prom. I went with my bf and our prom was casino theme, so he only danced with me once and sat at the poker table surrounded by other girls for the rest of the night... then asked someone else to dance with him at the last dance. So I know how that feels. Needless to say, we're not together anymore ^^;

In your case, it sounds you deserved someone better than him.
