I know what anatomy is. I meant which area do I need to work on. And I don't recall asking you, I recall asking Flippin Taco.

They are SUPPOSED to be anime, no human anatomy is necessary in an anime drawing.

Actually yes, in any art when drawing a human anime to realistic anatomy is a very important factor. Otherwise something will look off.

The anatomy needs work, try using a referemce when you draw.
Keep practicing and you'll get better ^^

Anatomy, as in which area?

From picture to picture there are different errors. Even in anime a basic knowledge of human anatomy is needed. In some pictures porportions are wrong as well.
In the second picture where the arm joins the shoulder is wrong, and in the third the wrists look non-existant. I hope this helps :3

Thanks for the link, it's helped a lot.

Those are two errors I did infact notice. I'm still young (younger than 18, older than 13) so I can't be perfect.

And believe it or not Anatomy is twice as necessary in "anime" drawings, because its a simplification of the human structure and if you're just working from "anime anatomy" then it will look twice as bad.

I'm not meaning to be rude. I posted here for opinions on whether or not I should start an avatar art shop. I CLEARLY posted that.

Honestly, I would probably do some more work before opening an artshop. You've got potential, pretty skilled, but in a commercial situation I would aim to better my skills before I start marketing them. The biggest thing that I would do in your case would be to lay off of the lined paper - it was a habit that I had for the longest time, and it was hella hard to kick - and to do either digital editing, or traditional medium inking before putting them up for sale. Past that, I won't mention anatomy because it seems that's what everyone else has said, and I hate beating a dead horse.

Keep working. As an artist, your harshest critic should always be yourself. If someone gives you critique, whether it be rude or polite, it's best to heed it, imo. At the moment, you're coming off as a little high strung and opinionated, and it makes people hesitant to offer advice and assistance.

Anyways, I look forward to seeing things from you in the future. Age means nothing, in a year, if you keep working diligently skill and practice will shine through in your artwork. Good luck, and I hope whatever you decide to do, you as the artist are satisfied with your results biggrin

If you can draw your pictures on clean white paper, instead of note book paper and scan them. I think they would be apt for a shoppe biggrin
