ok fine, I drew something

so after failing pretty hard earlier, I figured I'd give this drawing thing a try. so...

this is what I was looking at


and this is what I got out of it



wasn't really trying to copy it, just using it to get ideas on how to draw that type of character. this was the first time I tried to draw something sine 2006. so I guess if you think you can help me then go for it.

well its better than just an avi screenshot XD

at this point i think the basic draw from life and draw what you see and not what you think you see advice is worth trying out.

example, if you want to learn to draw fox people well you need to sit down and watch some foxes and try drawing them and do the same thing with humans

I agree with this. To be effective you should be able to see how a fox moves and is put together and how a human does as well. Knowing the structure of both makes it easier to come up with something that effective blends the traits of both. Don't worry about how long or when you are drawing, concentrate more on what you are trying to achieve,
