Naruto & Dragonball Z crossover.

(1) The sketch isn't fully clean and the colouring as noticed is rushed but what do you think for a 30 minute drawing?

(2) Same picture except the coulouring layer is now using the multiply option.

Looks damn good to me for a 30 minute drawing. 3nodding
I would work on coloring a little bit - some times the color goes outside of the lines (particularly around the hair) and makes the lineart look a bit dirty. You could decide to try and color without the lineart (a la vector linearts, or just straight up trying to paint) or try to keep the lines clean while you color. Most graphics programs like photoshop would allow you to use multiple layers, and changing the layer options to Multiply will help keep the lines dark as you color on a separate layer.

Aside from that, Goku (that's the DBZ guy's name right? I don't remember too much. Ehehe.) need a tiny bit of muscle change with that thumbs-up arm (his left). Naruto looks good though.

And good job on capturing the essential characteristics of both characters.

Afew reasons why it doesn't look so good.

1. Was at first a doodle in class but developed into something because it looked so good.

2. Was pen... also shaded in pen (Never thought I'd try to scan and colour it)

3. Was done on lined paper... If you look closely you might see some lines.

Also that's Gohan... I figuered Naruto and Gohan would be better since they're both teenagers. And heh, yes the thumbs do look a little crap don't they? Also I took your advice and tried the multipy option, will upload it soon.

Hmm, ya I would say the multiply version works better. You see the pen shading better, and things like Naruto's hair don't look as messy.

its good for a 30 min sketch...the skin should be well..skin color not grey. the fingers could use a bit more...detail.and your picture is bleeding.
