Docs, I need help!
xd
I totaly lack inspiration for original stuffs, I've even tried to draw stuffs I usualy don't, but that didn't help much.
sweatdrop
I'm not too selfconfident, but I usualy have a bunch of ideas, now the're just gone.
There's this entrance "test" going on for an animation college.
I just can't do anything right, but I have done a few sketches I'm working on. XD
What do you think they are looking for?
Working like an animator = childhood dream come true!
The deadline is te 6th...
crying
wow, that's hard on you.
I checked your site for a bit. ^^ You got pretty nice stuff (oh yeah, i am going for animation also. ^_^)
Original stuff huh? Just a few days before the entrance test to whip up stuff is madness.
Lemme think what might help you...
The lack of interest in your original stuff is because you are probably paying more attention to other existing titles right now. After a while of neglect, you will find it hard to come back to your own.
You got some interesting stuff with school work, you should keep exploring the possbilities, and think in the way of "how to translate them into the form of art You Like."
For your solution... *its a tough one*
I think it's the word "play" and just let things come to you~ @@ If you have your own characters, play with them, if you need inspiration, take what you are already interested in and add them together *like Naruto, I believe*
As you develop from the fandom you have, adding your own originality, you can begin to branch out and have your own work.
But being an animator, I think a stronger porfolio will be including gesture drawing of all kinds of motion, and strong style adoption. If you can adopt styles of others, it will make you a good animator. And animator really works with mechanical drawing styles, so practice that will help you too. ^_^
That's what I can suggest for you.
