There's no variation in the line weight. Try varying thicknesses. I'll admit I don't know much about GIMP besides correcting my traditional art, but I think I remember there being a way to add some extra thickness to the lines. It'll look more alive. Cute drawing though.

yes there is a way to change the thickness of the lines, but I was just trying to get the picture done first
