hmmm ... guess ill try and finish up the books and junk sitting around, and try and tighten it up and leave it, unless someone can draw me some suggestions
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems that the way you've spaced each object is relatively even, and that bugs me. The objects are placed so randomly I can't tell what the last person in the room did, other than eat some crisps and drink a can of soda. Like, I expect items to cluster more around the couch side of the coffee table because people tend to sit on that side. If there's a TV in the room, then a remote on the table pointing towards it.
You are of course free to clutter however you want, but since this is an artistic venture I thought it'd be useful if the placement of your stuff told a bit of a story, rather than just any random, sparsely furnished bachelor pad.
I also don't quite get your light source(s), because on the one hand I see sunlight on half the door, implying perhaps midafternoon light, on the other hand the shadow under the table, the top surfaces of the couch all tell me overhead/indoor lighting - what happened to the sun inside the room?
Feel free to refute/explain why you've done everything the way you have, as these are the observations of an amateur
