(old picture)

I suggest looking up some anatomy tutorials on deviantart or some other site. As many have said, you've got potential. 3nodding

You fail to grasp the concept of eyeballing completly. Eyeballing is when you look at someone else ART WORK, copy it, and call it your own. It is not when you look at a still life or and person and draw it on your own. How are these two any different? One person took a lot of time and practice to come up with the picture you copied, it's not your idea, and you're claiming it is. Another reason I disagree with it is because it doesn't teach you anything. You can say it "teaches" you their style, but you need to make up your own style. Also, his anatomy of people is slightly skewed. You need to learn how to draw real people before you can draw anime.

How to draw anime books SUCK, that's why you're getting no where. What you need to do is draw from life.

This is eyeballed. I wish I could crit more, but it's too difficult when you just copied another piece of artwork. Try to get some photos of real people (DA has a lot of stock photos that you can reference as long as you give credit); start drawing from real life. Master the basics, and THEN stylize.
