Most of it actually looks fine.
Just check to make sure that the eyes are in the center of the head, since this is a straight-on pose.
The eyes may also be a bit too big for the face, meaning they don't have the room to be the distance of themselves between each other( in other words, that the space between the eye isn't allowed to stretch to be the same size as one of the eyes, which is a big part of facial proportions). Actually, now that I look at it, you may just have better luck if you make the face larger in general, as the mouth is also positioned a little too close to the chin/jawline.
Though, this could also be your style, as I'm seeing a few stylistic approaches to the painting.
In all, though, very nice work. Wonderful use of color diversity.

My only advice is to perhaps work on the hair/backdrop a bit. You've done a wonderful job rendering the lips, skin, and eyes, so the hair seems a little underdeveloped. Unless that was the look you were going for c:
