Despite the whole waking up between two supernatural creatures thing becoming a regular thing since Reginald's kidnapping move, he was still not used to it, so his reaction was still the same. Said same reaction being to try and lie as quietly and motionlessly as possible until someone hopefully gets rid of them. Or until they wake up, in which case he would probably just panic and start crying again.
