The elf spotted the unmoving person on the ground and halted his horse. He glanced around and waited for an undeterminable amount of time before dismounting and taking a few steps closer to the kitling.
Was this another trap? He'd fallen for her wiles before - and though he had gotten some very nice treats for his trouble, he did have things planned today that he should probably attend - and it wouldn't do to be caught unawares again.
Satisfied that nothing was - currently - amiss in that sense, the elf strode towards the unconscious body of the kitling. He could see that she was still breathing even from this distance, and knelt next to her. He called out to her and gently shook her shoulders, but there appeared no response.
He visually checked her over for injuries, but spotted none. "Well, there's nothing for it, then," he supposed, "I'll just have to collect you and bring you with me. I would feel bad about leaving you lying on the ground like this."
The elf slipped an arm under her knees, and the other between her shoulder and head before pulling her up into a sitting position. "Here we go.." he said before standing up with her in his arms.
"Now, I'm going to drape you rather gracelessly over the horse first," he continued to speak to her as if she were awake - just in case - and approached the patiently waiting mare that hadn't even bothered to drop its head to nibble on the grass. Good girl.
"After that, I'll climb up, myself, and pull you into a slightly more comfortable position, I do promise," he assured her, and went about it. "Just a moment now," he kept up his one-sided conversation and got back into the saddle, before pulling her up and against him, so she could rest more easily without threatening to fall off.
"Now, the question remains, where to go," he said as he nudged the horse back into motion, "I'm just going to bring you along, and should you awake before we reach my destination, I guess you can just go back. Otherwise, I'll have the healers look at you. Sounds fair, does it not?"
The tall elf certainly thought so as he let the horse find her way.
